This Privacy Policy describes how Netstech Software Solutions ("we", "us", "our") handles information
in the Android application Learn C++ in 5 days (package name net.netstech.cpp.pf2), referred
to as the "App". By using the App you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
The App does not require an account, and we do not ask you for your name, email address, phone number, or location.
- Learning progress: completed lessons, solved exercises and quiz scores are stored only on your device (local storage). We do not receive or store this data on our servers. It is removed if you tap "Reset progress" or uninstall the App.
- Advertising data: the App shows ads provided by Google AdMob (see section 3). AdMob may collect certain information automatically, such as your device's advertising ID, IP address, device and operating-system information, app interaction data and approximate location derived from the IP address.
2. How we use information
- To save your learning progress on your own device.
- To display banner and interstitial advertisements, which help us offer the App free of charge.
- To keep the App working properly and prevent fraud and abuse of advertising services (performed by the ad provider).
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Third-party services
The App uses the following third-party service, which has its own privacy policy:
- Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK – Google Privacy Policy · How Google uses data from apps that use its services
Google and its partners may use the advertising ID to show personalized or non-personalized ads. You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of ad personalization in your Android settings under Settings → Privacy → Ads (the exact path varies by device).
4. Consent (EEA, UK and similar regions)
Where required by law, the App shows a consent message (using Google's User Messaging Platform) before personalized advertising is used. You can choose whether to give or refuse consent, and you may change your choice at any time where the App or your device provides that option.
5. Data retention and security
Progress data stays on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App. Data processed by AdMob is retained according to Google's policies. We use reasonable measures to protect the App, but no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.
6. Children's privacy
The App is intended for a general audience of students and learners and is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will help resolve it.
7. Your rights and choices
- Reset or delete your progress at any time using "Reset progress" in the App, or by uninstalling it.
- Reset your advertising ID or limit ad personalization in your device settings.
- Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data processed about you. Because we do not hold your personal data, requests about advertising data should be directed to Google, and we are glad to help with any question you send us.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the revised policy.
